The Veil Wiki is an independent guide site. You can read our guides without creating an account, and advertising only loads if you allow it.
Hosting and contact
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. Requests disclose technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to the hosting provider for delivery, security and operational logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond and handle your request. Do not include sensitive account or payment information.
Optional analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-85XR8XH0PJ to understand visits and improve guides. When analytics is on, Google may process the page URL and title, referrer, browser and device details, approximate location derived from the connection, and standard measurements enabled in the Google Analytics data stream. Our site code does not add search terms, names, email addresses, Roblox account identifiers or custom click events to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics may set first-party cookies and process data on Google systems. We disable Google signals and ad-personalization signals in the site tag, deny advertising storage and cap the analytics cookie expiration configured by this site at 180 days. Your analytics choice
For visitors identified as being in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics stays off until allowed. It also stays off if the region lookup fails or is unknown. In other identified regions, analytics may run by default unless you turn it off. We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping analytics off. Analytics is also disabled on local and preview domains.
Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to allow or turn off analytics. We store the choice in local storage under veil-analytics-consent-v1. Permission lasts up to 180 days; a rejection stays in effect until changed or site storage is cleared. Unavailable storage, expired permission and invalid preference data keep analytics off. Changing the choice reloads the page so the tag starts or stops on the next load; withdrawing cannot undo data already sent.
Advertising
This site carries advertising from HilltopAds and Monetag, and it loads only if you allow it. Monetag ran here until September 10, 2026, was removed, and returned alongside HilltopAds on September 11, 2026. Adsterra was removed earlier and none of its code is on any page.
Two banner slots exist, one after the opening answer and one at the end of the article, and only on the home page and 12 guide pages. Monetag adds one vignette banner on those same pages, which appears over the page rather than in a slot. This policy, the about, contact, links, terms, search and error pages never load an ad, whatever your choice is. A slot that is not filled takes up no space.
Until you allow it, or in a region where we ask first, your browser makes no request to either network at all — not a blocked one, not an empty one. Once loaded, HilltopAds, Monetag and the advertising partners they work with may use cookies or similar identifiers, your IP address, device and browser details and your interactions with an ad to select, deliver and measure what you are shown, and to prevent fraud. Their partners, retention periods and processing locations may vary and are governed by their terms, not ours; we never receive that data. The path /sw.js serves Monetag’s ownership verification service worker again. This site’s own code never registers a service worker; the Monetag tag may register that one after advertising is allowed, and it can only send you notifications if your browser separately asks you and you agree. If you installed the self-unregistering replacement served at that path between September 10 and 11, 2026, it already removed itself.
The site also includes Google AdSense code under publisher client ca-pub-9664544809218491 for ownership verification and application review. Google advertising storage, user-data and personalization consent signals remain denied during this onboarding stage.
Loading the AdSense verification code connects your browser to Google. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, requested page, browser and device details, approximate location and request time for verification, security and service operation. Permission records which networks it was given for. Adding or changing a network makes an existing permission stop applying and we ask again; a rejection is never reset by that, and is never inherited from an earlier arrangement. An older choice stored under veil-monetag-consent-v1 is not read by anything.
Google automatic advertising is not treated as ready merely because the verification code is present. Before Google advertising consent can be enabled in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the site must use a Google-certified consent management platform configured through AdSense. The site’s custom “Privacy settings” controls are not a Google-certified CMP and do not grant Google advertising consent.
Privacy requests
Contact [email protected] about information you sent us or to request access, correction or deletion. Rights depend on your location and may also include objection, restriction and a complaint to your local data protection authority. For information held by analytics, advertising or hosting providers, their linked policies explain how to contact them.
External links and updates
This site sets a referrer policy of no-referrer-when-downgrade, so the address of the page you were on is passed to the advertising partners above, and to any external site you click through to. Most sites now send only the domain. What it discloses here is which guide you were reading; there are no accounts, forms or query strings on this site that could carry anything more. Nothing is sent when the destination is an insecure connection.
